4. Larry Borom, OT
You could argue against Larry Borom being here, or at least for him to not be higher than Braxton Jones on the list. One point of view is that Borom is the only tackle playing right and left tackle. Could it be that Teven Jenkins will play right tackle, Braxton Jones will play left, and Borom will be the swing because he is playing both? Perhaps.
However, what could be helping Borom is that he truly has two outs to starting. Teven Jenkins is playing right tackle and said that he is focusing solely on right tackle. That is what he played the best in college and should have stayed there as a rookie.
Braxton Jones has never played right tackle, being a long-time starting left tackle at Southern Utah. Neither of them is competing at either spot.
Still, Borom is entering training camp and he knows that he could win a job at left tackle, beating out the rookie. Or, he could start at right tackle, especially considering he was getting most of the first-team reps over Jenkins last week.
If they wanted Borom to be the swing guy he would get reps with the twos, and they would not have Jenkins lose first-team reps. Borom is the only player working first-team at left tackle and first-team at right tackle depending on the day, session, or rep.
This will be big to note in camp because he has a good chance at starting at one or the other at this point.
