3. Khari Blassingame

Not many fans are going to get excited about the big fullback signing, but Khari Blassigame could be a key addition to the offense. To start, while J.P Holtz was technically the fullback for the Bears last season, there is a complete difference in how these two play the game and will be used.

Blassingame is a better blocker, but the Chicago Bears coaches are hoping to use him in a versatile manner as well. So many fans want to call Luke Getsy another extension of the Kyle Shanahan tree, but one thing we know about that tree is that they love the versatile fullback.

Kyle Juscyk started a revolution that brought fullbacks back into the game, and the Chicago Bears could be following a similar pattern. The Packers have used Josiah Deguara and Dominique Daffney in similar roles, so we know that the Bears are going to follow a similar pattern.

Many people are worried about the depth at wide receiver, but with a tight end, fullback, and running back, they may only need two receivers on the field for most snaps. Of course, that would mean a huge impact from Khari Blassingame.
