1. Minnesota Vikings: Harrison Smith, Lewis Cine, Josh Metellus, Cam Bynum

This is another one where the depth may not win it, but the starting duo could be lethal. Harrison Smith is starting to get older, but it is still hard to say that he is not the top dog in the division, as a better version of Adrian Amos, with the consistent playmaking we want to see from Eddie Jackson.

Smith only has so much time left, and he is not the prime player he once was, but he still holds it down for now. Lewis Cine is what puts it together. While he is a rookie like Brisker, he is a first-round pick, and you would be hard-pressed to find anyone saying that Brisker was better than Cine before the draft.

Cine was underrated because of the Georgia defense he played on, but with a top-end talent like him joining Smith, it will alow them to be very versatile and attack teams. Metellus and Bynum are not bringing much to the discussion, but you can make the case that they have shown as much, and have more upside than the depth of the Packers.

The slight edge in depth does go to Chicago, and they could be up to number one if Jackson bounces back and Brisker performs as expected. Still, with Cine being a more versatile version of Brisker and Smith being the reliable stud, this is the top group in the division.
