7.  Leonard Floyd, 9th overall

This one was tough. Two things were going against Leonard Floyd. The first being him drafted ninth overall. Floyd was a great pick, but there may be a debate about whether he was top ten. Considering Vernon Hargreaves, and Eli Apple were the next picks, and the only other pass rushers taken nearly that high was Shaq Lawson, it was a fair selection.  Floyd hit seven sacks as a rookie, and never quite hit those highs again.

Still, he did give three productive seasons overall, and he wound up getting a new deal with the LA Rams. That is where Floyd exploded, with 20 sacks in the past two years. Some of this may be aided by what he has done the past two years, but the potential was always there with Chicago, and there was always a thought that he would hit that high in the right situation.

Being the ninth overall pick and having his most success after Chicago hurts what Ryan Pace did to select Floyd, but he was still a good pick.
