6. Jordan Morgan, 147

Jordan Morgan is another that is almost hard to knock too much because the 147th pick is not supposed to be some game-changer. Still, he makes the list with ease for a few reasons, one being that everybody said who the heck is this guy when Ryan Pace took him.

Jordan Morgan was drafted in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft from Kutztown. That is a Divison II school in Pennsylvania. The pick was questionable from the start, and started to feed into the idea that Pace was taking a small school player every year to show his smarts.

The pick hurt, though as he missed his entire rookie season on the IR. Then, he was released in 2018. A fifth-round pick got them two training camps, and technically one season. A lot of low picks do not pan out, but going for the player from an unknown school like that is asking to get criticized.

Beyond that, notable names taken in the 20 picks following Morgan include Damonte Kazee, Desmond King, Corn Elder, Jayon Brown, Anthony Walker, and Matt Milano. Any would have been welcome additions to the defense. All of them are still in the NFL, while Jordan Morgan was out of the NFL by 2019. He was cut by the CFL in 2019, and out of the XFL in 2020. Even for a fifth-rounder, he has to be this high.
