3 over/unders for Justin Jones with Chicago Bears
1. Over or Under 44 tackles
Justin Jones has seen his tackles increase every season, even when his snaps do not. From 17 to 30, then 34, and last season 37 tackles he has steadily progressed.
So, at the rate he is going, at least 40 or 41 tackles should be expected. When you add in that he may end up with a career-high in snaps, you could lean over. The key here will be run defense.
Jones is better against the run than most anyone on the roster aside from the true-nose tackles such as Khiyris Tonga and Mike Pennel. Teams are going to run on the Bears, mainly because they are thin up front, but also because the team is not projected to be a 10-game winner.
If Jones is on the field more, and he is facing more run snaps than he has in most years, you can see this being a reasonable projection, if not going over.
