3. Over/Under 17 receptions for Khalil Herbert

With 14 receptions last season, it could be a lock that Herbert gets over 17 this year, right? This one may actually be tougher than his carries and rushing yards. Herbert proved he was a great runner when he was called upon, but the Bears were hesitant with him last year with pass protection issues.

He also was not making catches down the field, but rather is a dump-off at the line of scrimmage. It could be argued that David Montgomery is a better pass catcher, and Montgomery is not known for that area.

What hurts Herbert more is that the team added Darrynton Evans and Trestan Ebner. Both are well known for their pass-catching abilities and considering Montgomery and Herbert are not, both of them are likely to see their chances reduced.

While Clay has that duo down for just eight catches, if either gets a bigger role they will cut Into any catches that Herbert will get. This one we are going under.
