1. Will Khalil Herbert score 4 touchdowns with Chicago Bears in 2022?
Last season Herbert had two touchdowns, so the jump up to four would be impressive. Clay has three rushing for Herbert, and one receiving. While we do not see him as a pass-catcher, he could get to four, even if they were all on the ground.
As noted, if there are times he will step in for Montgomery, it will be on the ground. This could come in the red zone, as the Bears either preserve Montgomery or at least see if they can trust Herbert in these goal-line roles.
Herbert also has the breakaway speed that Montgomery does not, so while most of the touchdowns for Monty will be 20 yards or shorter, Herbert can take one from a much longer distance.
