Chicago Bears who need a dominant training camp: Charles Snowden, DE

Another fan favorite on the Chicago Bears roster is Charles Snowden. Snowden was an undrafted free agent in 2021 out of Virginia. Many thought Snowden would be drafted and fans were ecstatic when he made it onto the Bears’ roster. Snowden started on the practice squad but saw 5% of the defensive snaps and 13% of the special teams snaps.

Fans want to see Snowden remain on this roster despite not recording a single stat last year. Snowden making the final 53-man roster is going to come down to how many defensive ends the team keeps. It also will depend on if Robert Quinn is traded or not. Right now, it’s going to be difficult for Snowden to lock down a position.

Quinn, Trevis Gipson, Al-Quadin Muhammad and Dominique Robinson are locks to make the team. Snowden and Sam Kamara will be battling for what I would assume will be the final spot on the defensive end depth chart.
