3. Two Big WRs go down with injuries

Byron Pringle suffered a quad injury during practice and is expected to miss some time. Most quad injuries are a one to three-week injury, which has Pringle on a timetable to return for week one but miss all of the preseason.

N’Keal Harry suffered an ankle injury and the only update as of now is that the injury is severe. It is expected to be a high ankle pain, and that means that Harry will probably miss a few weeks in the best-case scenario, and in the worst case, he is likely to miss time during the season. He could even miss the majority of the year with an issue like this.

These aren’t two huge names in the big media landscape, but for the Chicago Bears, these are two names the team was relying on. They made Pringle their big signing this offseason and added Harry via a trade. To see both of them hit a bump in the road so early during their time here hurts.

Justin Fields has little time or experience with either and now will not get any until the start of the season. That is already going to hurt the team.
