3. Nsimba Webster

Nsimba Webster is another player from the Ryan Pace regime. As Ryan Poles continues to bring his players into the mix, we are going to see the back end of the roster players that Pace has get let go.

For Webster, the Chicago Bears will be doing him a favor. He is most known as a return option and could possibly find a job in the NFL doing that. It just will not happen with Chicago.

Trestan Ebner returned kicks ahead of him and did well. Then, Dante Pettis and Dazz Newsome both ran as punt return options ahead of him. Webster is a return man more than a wide receiver, but on the Chicago Bears is getting more work with the receivers and is stacked up against too much depth at return man.

Webster is a veteran and once he gets cut he could fly to a new city and catch on at training camp the next day. Webster has to be looking at the roster and seeing the last preseason game and knows that he will not get a shot here. He should be telling the Bears he is okay with getting released, and the Bears should oblige. It just gives them more snaps to evaluate the wide receivers who could make the roster.
