2. Greg Stroman

Greg Stroman is another player that most fans will realize that he is on the roster when they get the news of his release. Stroman has not practiced in a few weeks and has not suited up for any preseason action.

Stroman was a player who was going to struggle to make the roster as it was but certainly needed a big preseason to make that happen. Without getting on the field, and with little expectation he can ramp up by next week, you have to think that he is going to be on the chopping block.

Stroman had some promise in his rookie in 2018, but it has been injuries destroying his career since then. You can say that it is not surprising to see his status after the past couple of years, and that is probably why the Bears gave him the extra week, but now they need the roster spot.

Lamar Jackson, BoPete Keyes, Davontae Harris, and Jaylon Jones have all been healthy at cornerback, and all have shown moments that deserve a longer look in preseason week three. Cutting Stroman now still gives the Bears plenty of depth to look at those four in the last game.
