4 things the Chicago Bears need to see from Luke Getsy’s offense

The Chicago Bears offensive line needs to step up
From an outside perspective, the offensive line for the Chicago Bears is horrific. To the fanbase, it isn’t as bad as everyone makes it seem to be. This definitely could be blind optimism, but it also could be relatively true.
From top to bottom, the Bears do have solid depth behind their starting offensive line. Riley Reiff and Michael Schofield are great backups to have on your roster. Their starters though are not amazing on paper.
When Lucas Patrick returns, the line significantly improves with solid starters everywhere, but no blue-chip players. The starting offensive line looks to be Braxton Jones (left tackle), Cody Whitehair (left guard), Lucas Patrick (center), Teven Jenkins (right guard), and Larry Borom (right tackle). That is a lot of uncertainty in the starting offense with three players who have a combined 10 starts (two of them being the tackles).
On the other hand, the line does have high upside. Braxton Jones has shown incredible athleticism and has been scrapping with one of the best edge rushers in Robert Quinn. Iron sharpens iron, right? Borom showed developmental traits last season and Jenkins has looked like a better man at right guard.
This line needs to step up to its upside or at least in the right direction. The line dictates both the run game and keeping their quarterback up on two feet. Poles emphasized early in his career how important the offensive line was to him, so you have to imagine they know what they are doing here, hopefully.
