The Chicago Bears will get their starters adequate work in the preseason finale. However, more important than that is that this week will be the final time that borderline roster players and potential starters will get a chance to prove that they belong.

While this game will not alter the career of Justin Fields, some jobs will be won and lost. Who are some players that have a lot on the line?

10. Darrynton Evans

Darrynton Evans is probably on the outside of the roster looking in at this point. When the team signed him, he was their speedy back who could change the pace. He also could return kicks.

Since then the team signed Trestan Ebner and it has become clear that Ebner has been ahead of him on the depth chart. So, Evans is a bit redundant to what they already have. Still, the team could be willing to keep Evans on the roster as a fourth back.

It is tough to completely trust a day three rookie, and Ebner is already banged up. With that in mind, Evans will probably get a long look as the third down back. Khalil Herbert is banged up as well, and with David Montgomery expected to be limited, there could be a lot of chances for him to prove his worth.

He could also prove that the team is fine without him with a ho-hum performance. This is a big game for Darrynton Evans.
