7. Chris Finke

One of the more surprising notes was that Chris Finke did not play in the second preseason game. There has been little reported about his injury, and the thought is that he is healthy this week, so we should get to see his status.

Still, without seeing him week two, and with him being limited and not effective in week one, he is unlikely to do much in week three to push him onto the roster. Especially when the starters will be getting the first half.

Tajae Sharpe is missing practice, and he may miss the game. That could open some snaps for Chris Finke, but he is currently on the same line as Isaiah Coulter and Kevin Shaa as back-end depth.

Finke could stick on the practice squad, as he signed with Ryan Poles, who was in the front office when Finke also signed with the Chiefs. Still, Coulter has shown more in the preseason, and Shaa is younger as a rookie UDFA. This could be the last weekend that Finke spends here.
