6. Lachavious Simmons
Most Chicago Bears are ready for this move to be made. Ryan Pace forgot to invest in the offensive line, and it cannot be shown more than seeing him throw seventh-round picks at an offensive line problem with Arlington Hambright and Lachavious Simmons.
Hambright has been gone, and now Simmons will not be far behind him. Simmons at least got onto the NFL field, but he was dominated against the Bucs in a game where Justin Fields was overwhelmed.
The team gave up on him at tackle and have been playing him at left guard this offseason. Simmons has been behind Cody Whitehair and Zach Thomas. Thomas has not been great in the preseason, but it would be surprising if he did not make it because of Simmons.
Simmons would probably not want to come back to a front office and coaching staff that did not invest so this may be it for him on the Chicago Bears.
