5. Greg Stroman

When the Chicago Bears cut the roster down to 80, you expected to see Stroman as a name who was waived-injured or transferred to the IR. Stroman has been injured for multiple years and he has not been able to get onto the field for any preseason games.

There has been absolutely no talk about Stroman getting onto a field at any time, so there was a good chance that he was going to be cut. Still, he made it this far, at least giving him a chance to get onto the field in week three.

Still, it is hard to see him making the roster. As noted, at cornerback we are going to see Johnson, Gordon, Young, and Vildor. The team is keeping him on the roster because they may want him to take that fifth spot, but so far he is behind Lamar Jackson, and even Harris has shown the special teams ability that Stroman has not.

We will see soon enough what happens to Stroman, and injury designations are still on the table. Until he plays, we are not sure.
