12. Corey Dublin

Corey Dublin is a fascinating case and we will see just how much interest the team has in Dublin after he only spent a few weeks with the Chicago Bears. The team only signed Dublin after the first preseason game, and they did so because Doug Kramer joined Lucas Patrick as an injured center.

The team had just Sam Mustipher, and Dieter Eiselen, the latter having never played center before. Still, Dublin came in for insurance, and Eiselen played over him and got entire halves of work. Meanwhile, when Eiselen left with an injury, the drop-off to Dublin was noticeable.

The team could view Dublin in two ways. In one manner they could say that he was just a camp body, and now they do not need him. However, they could say that it would be smart to keep an emergency center on the practice squad considering the injury situation. Dublin had to catch onto the moving train, and now things can slow down, and he can develop a season, and potentially snap during games next preseason. We will see what the Bears think of him very soon.
