7. Isaiah Coulter

There are two things helping Isaiah Coulter as he enters his second season on the Chicago Bears practice squad. First, it obviously helps that Coutler had an excellent preseason. While Webster is essentially just a return man, and wideouts like Chris Finke were just slot options, Coulter moved around, ran pro routes, and looked like the most complete wide out of all of the depth.

The other thing helping Coulter is that the wide receiver depth chart is not loaded by any means. He is currently number seven on the depth chart, but with Smith-Marsette, and Dante Pettis as the names ahead of him, the chances of him getting called up to the active roster are more realistic for him than some of these other players.

The fact that he made the PS as a Ryan Pace player also speaks to the fact that he won the coaching staff over, which can be tough to do in his situation.
