3. What will the Green Bay Packers do at right guard?

If Elgton Jenkins can play and they can kick Royce Newman inside to guard the team would have to feel a lot better. However, if Jenkins cannot go, the question becomes who will be playing right guard? It is likely to be Jake Hanson, who started at guard on Sunday.

Still, Hanson was beaten up pretty well by the Vikings and now has a shoulder injury. He practiced in full, and will probably start, but the combination of Hanson and Newman is much worse than Jenkins and Newman back at guard.

One thing Minnesota did often was line up Za’Darius Smith over the guard. The Bears did that once with Dominique Robinson on Sunday and worked great. They need to get Robinson more snaps, so if Hanson plays, they should stand up an edge rusher over him and give him a running start at him.

The team would like to lean on a rookie like Zach Tom, but right now, they may need him at left guard.
