Chicago Bears Week 2 Overreaction No. 1: Kyler Gordon has A LOT to learn

Prior to the 2022 NFL Draft, one of the biggest concerns for the Bears was their secondary. So, with their first pick in the draft, the Bears attacked the secondary and selected Kyler Gordon from Washington with the 39th overall pick.

In his first game against a water-logged San Francisco 49ers, there wasn’t much to report about, as he wasn’t tested much since the passing game for both teams was rather minimal.

That said, Kyler Gordon was given a proper welcome to the NFL in his first prime-time game against the Green Bay Packers.

When facing a quarterback who’s done it as long as Aaron Rodgers has done it, this is likely to happen to a rookie.

That said, since it’s Overreaction Monday, Kyler Gordon needs to have a bounce-back game against Davis Mills next week, or it could be time to look for other DBs that can make an impact– and a tackle.
