I will continue to pound the table for Will Fuller to the Chicago Bears

Look, the Chicago Bears offense is currently ranked dead last in the NFL in passing. This has something to do with the monsoon the team had to play in during Week 1 and only attempting 11 passes vs. the Packers in Week 2. As much as we can’t fully judge the Bears’ offense through two weeks, it’s also important to not fully judge the wide receiver group through these two games.

That said, it’s clear that this team can use the help of a new weapon on offense and Will Fuller is clearly the top option outside of Odell Beckham, Jr. who isn’t fully healthy. Fuller has dealt with injuries every season but has also proved himself as a legit threat.

In 2020, Fuller caught eight touchdowns in 11 games. He finished with 879 receiving yards on 75 targets. Throughout his career, Fuller has averaged 14.7 yards per catch and nearly five touchdowns per season. He’d make an immediate upgrade to the backend of the wide receiver group. The problem is, Fuller is likely looking for too much money. However, at this point, you’d have to assume he’d be more open to a lower-paying deal. Ryan Poles should be talking to his agent about a possible tryout with the Chicago Bears.
