2. Jerry Hughes vs Chicago Bears tackles

The Houston Texans signed Jerry Hughes late into the offseason and so far it has been a smashing success. Hughes has four pressures and two sacks so far this season. He also has a pass rush win rate of 26.1% according to PFF.

This is notable because Nick Bosa is at 28% and Rashan Gary is at 31% Gary was bumped up by a strong game against Larry Borom, but the reality is that while Hughes is not the big name that Bosa and Gary are, he has been winning at a similar rate so far this season.

Braxton Jones should expect to see him about 30% of the time that someone is across from him, while the right tackle Larry Borom should expect to see him 27% of the time.

He is rotational, and he lines up against both tackles, which makes him tough to scheme against. Hughes brings it on every snap because he does not play every snap, and the Texans have found ways to match him up on the opposition’s weakness. Both Jones and Borom are going to see their share of Hughes, and both need to keep him in check.
