David Montgomery (+100)

Montgomery rushed for 122 yards in Week 2, wrestling back control of Chicago’s backfield. When he faced Houston last year, this happened:

The Texans allowed 162 rushing yards to Jonathan Taylor and 4.8 yards per carry to the Broncos, so Montgomery should have ample running room to get back in the end zone.

Dameon Pierce (+155)

Pierce is officially the Texans’ lead back after getting 15 of Houston’s 18 rush attempts in Week 2, and Chicago’s run defense is a weakness. Green Bay rushed for 203 yards after the 49ers picked up 177 on the ground, and the Texans’ game plan will likely revolve around Pierce.

I don’t think Houston scores much this week, but Pierce at +155 is a value against a Bears team that’s let a running back get a TD in each game thus far.

Bears Defense (+750)

While Chicago has struggled against the run, the Bears’ pass defense looks fantastic. It’s got five sacks and forced three turnovers through two weeks, and Davis Mills struggles mightily on the road.

With Eddie Jackson and a stout pass rush, I like Chicago’s chances to force a turnover and take it to the house.
