After the Chicago Bears win over the Houston Texans the team has moved to 2-1 on the season. It is still early, but considering so many in the media had this team destined for the number one overall pick, this has to be an inspiring start to the Matt Eberflus era. Still, while the wins are wins, many saw the Houston Texans competing with Chicago for that top pick, so the credit will be slow to come in.

Beyond that, the team has to answer the following five questions.

5. How much will Justin Fields improve?

Coming into the season expectations were not high for Justin Fields, mainly because of his supporting cast. However, no Chicago Bears fan can watch the first three weeks of the season and say that his help is hurting him more than he is hurting himself.

Small things for Justin Fields such as the snap exchange, getting passes batted at the line, throwing while past the line of scrimmage, not getting off of a read, and checking down too fast are all products of his own play.

The reality is that Justin Fields is going to improve. It is still a new offense and he is still inexperienced in the NFL. At the same time, the question is how much will he improve, and how fast will it come?

It was hard to say he was not the biggest impediment to winning on Sunday. The team is not going to bench him, as they have no good option behind him. Still, while many thought he could be propping a bad roster up, the opposite has shown through three weeks.
