3 Wide receivers the Chicago Bears should consider trading for at deadline
The Chicago Bears should also see what a trade for Terrace Marshall might cost
Look, here is another former second-round draft pick who isn’t working out with his current team. Terrace Marshall did not even dress this week for the Panthers despite that team not having a good offense either. This doesn’t bode well for the former LSU standout, but I wouldn’t rule out that Matt Rhule and the Panthers are just not using him to the best of his abilities. At only 22 years old, he’s a guy I’d be looking to add.
Marshall is big and fast. His college production was superb over a three-year span. His first year was highly limited, but over his final two years, Marshall finished with 94 catches for 1,402 yards and 23 touchdowns. He deserves a real shot and he’s not getting it in Carolina. He’d have a real shot of seeing the field here in Chicago though.
This would all come down to how high Ryan Poles thought of these players in college with an added bonus of seeing some of their NFL tape now. If he was high on any of these three, I think he’d be picking up the phone to at least see what each one would cost. Then again, I still have high doubts they make a move like this before the deadline.
