Chicago Bears 2022 Trade Candidate: Robert Quinn, DE

Prior to the 2022 season, rumors were circulating that the Chicago Bears were shopping Robert Quinn. This dates back to not long after Khalil Mack was traded to the Chargers. Ryan Poles didn’t get an offer he wanted and Robert Quinn still puts on a Bears uniform each week.

It would be nice if Robert Quinn could be moved prior to the trade deadline, but he is doing nothing but hurting his trade value up to this point. Throughout four games, he only has one sack and two pressures. This is ridiculous for how much this man is being paid. Not to mention, he is coming off of an 18.5 sack season.

What is preventing him to get to the quarterback this year? Is it the scheme change? I can’t imagine that to be the case. Quinn has seen plenty of success playing with his hand in the dirt. His best season was in 2013 with the Rams when he finished the year with 19 sacks. He played defensive end that season. Quinn has always been hot and cold, but hopefully, he finds paydirt over the next couple of weeks to drive up his trade value.
