3. Jahan Dotson Wide Receiver Injury

The Washington Commanders have had to like what they saw from Jahan Dotson through three NFL games. Unfortunately, a hamstring injury against the Dallas Cowboys put him on the sideline. He missed the second half of week four and was out for week five.

The team has listed him as a did not practice on Monday and Tuesday, so with a short week upcoming you can all but assume that Jahan Dotson is out. When you add Dotson being out to the return of Jaylon Johnson, you have to like the Chicago Bears’ chances to show better than last week.

Kindle Vildor is playing well, and it will allow the team to play sides and not follow Terry McLaurin when he moves around. Still, it has to be mentioned that Dyami Brown is stepping in for Dotson, and he had a huge game on Sunday.

Brown burnt both Caleb Farley and Roger McCreary on Sunday for touchdowns and finished the game with 105 yards. Still, he only made those two catches.

The team cannot take Brown lightly, but if they do play him tough, there is the chance that they could completely wipe him out of the game.

This leaves Curtis Samuel in the slot, which is probably their biggest advantage. Kyler Gordon is playing better, but the speed of Samuel going deep is going to test the rookie.
