2. Defensive Line strength vs Chicago Bears

The Washington Commanders are shuffling at wide receiver, cornerback, and offensive line. Is anything going right for them? At the very least, their defensive line has plenty of talent. They are still without Chase Young, but right now they are rolling out Montez Sweat, Jonathan Allen, DaRon Payne, and James Smith-Williams, with Efe Obada and Daniel Wise as rotational pass rushers.

Currently, they are fifth in the NFL in pressure rate, getting home 27.9% of the time. Montez Sweat ranks 16th amongst edge rushers in pressures, while Payne ranks eighth and Allen ranks 10th. They rely on these three to bring home the money, but so far they are at least keeping them in games.

For Braxton Jones, he is expected to see Montez Sweat on Sunday. This will be one of his toughest matchups to date, especially when you consider the type of physical specimen Sweat is. Allen will be facing off with Lucas Patrick, another obvious mismatch, while Payne will see Teven Jenkins.

Sweat can move to the right side at times, but they need a big game from Larry Borom because if he struggles, it will only put more pressure on the rest of the line, most of whom are not in good situations.
