And I do intend to win big. Here’s my favorite parlay for the matchup:
Bears vs Commanders Parlay Picks (+580)
- Bears Moneyline (-108)
- Justin Fields Over 170.5 Passing Yards (-114)
- Terry McLaurin Over 51.5 Receiving Yards (-114)
Odds of +580 would profit $58 on a $10 bet, and I love our chances to win this simple three-leg parlay. Let’s go through each pick:
Bears Moneyline (-108)
Washington is awful, is led by one of the league’s most mistake-prone QBs, Carson Wentz, and has four consecutive losses. The Commanders are 25th in yards per play (5.0), while the Bears have taken large steps forward offensively in recent weeks.
Chicago is 7-1 in its last eight games as a home favorite, including four consecutive wins. Washington, on the other hand, is 2-6 in its last eight as a road underdog. Expect these trends to continue as the Bears beat up on a mediocre opponent.
Justin Fields Over 170.5 Passing Yards (-114)
Fields cleared this total in each of his last two games and gets perhaps his juiciest matchup to date. The Commanders rank 26th in opponent yards per pass attempt (7.2) but have a strong run defense, so I’m expecting a big day from Fields through the air.
As Fields grows more comfortable as a passer in this new Bears offense, we’ve got to take advantage of weak lines against even weaker secondaries. Look for Fields to shine with his arm and take the over on his passing yards prop.
Terry McLaurin Over 51.5 Receiving Yards (-114)
Scary Terry finished with at least 58 receiving yards in four of five games, averaging 17.2 yards per catch on the season. He’s Carson Wentz’s trusted deep threat, while Chicago ranks 22nd in opponent yards per pass play (6.9).
In a game I expect the Bears to score, McLaurin should benefit from a few deep shots. All he really needs is three catches with his averages, so I love backing McLaurin to clear this prop for the fifth time in 2022.
