The Chicago Bears face a gauntlet at the back end of the season

The Bears certainly do not have an easy schedule going forward, with matchups against the Cowboys, Jets, Eagles, Bills, and Vikings, all of whom have only two or fewer losses at this point in the season. The Bears have shown that they can compete with the better teams in the NFL, with a near comeback victory on the road against the Vikings in week 5, but Chicago will need to continue to improve week by week to challenge two of the true heavyweights currently in the NFL in the Bills and Eagles.

Despite playing five outstanding teams down the stretch, the Bears will also have the opportunity to separate themselves from some of the other NFC teams currently “in the hunt”. The Chicago Bears have games against the Falcons and Packers, both at 3-4, and will have the opportunity to catapult themselves closer to a wild card birth with wins.

With two games against the Lions still to yet be played, there is hope that this Bears team can string together enough good games to not only make the playoffs but compete against a team like the Vikings, who they would hypothetically face in the wildcard round.
