The Pittsburgh Steelers and Chicago Bears made a trade for Chase Claypool in a move that shook things up for both teams. While the Pittsburgh Steelers sit at 2-6, and the Chicago Bears are 3-5, one team decided to buy, while the other sold.

The talk in Pittsburgh is a bit different than the talk in Chicago as well. To help mend the fences, the Fan Morning Show in Pittsburgh brought in Bear Goggles On site expert Parker Hurley to discuss the Chase Claypool.

The crew in Pittsburgh was interested to know why the Chicago Bears traded for Claypool now and did not wait until the draft or free agency. We also talked about Luke Getsy, who is a Pittsburgh native.

The crew as interested to see how Luke Getsy has been growing as an offensive coordinator, and whether or not he would be able to get the most out of Chase Claypool.

Beyond that, we discussed where Claypool will line up in Chicago. He was moving into the slot more often with the Steelers, but with Darnell Mooney in the slot, there is a question as to which player would get more snaps.

Lastly, we discussed the Chicago Bears’ future outlook. Steelers fans are now invested in the Chicago Bears losing, so the hosts wanted to know if the team has turned a corner and if they can continue to play as competitively each week.

Beyond that, they were interested to see when the Chicago Bears should expect to start winning. They realize like most fans, that Claypool will not completely change things, but at the same time, it is a step in the right direction.

Will the Chicago Bears be competitive next year, and what is a realistic timeline? Check out all of that, and more on the Fan Morning show linked above.
