The Chicago Bears finish off the comeback with an unbelievable win

On the next possession, Nick Foles hit Allen Robinson on a comeback route that he turned into a 38-yard catch and run for a touchdown — cutting the Falcons’ lead to a field goal. After forcing a three and out defensively, the Bears got the ball back once more. Facing pressure on third down, Foles lofted a 29-yard pass to Anthony Miller, who was running a similar route to his missed touchdown, this time connecting to put the Bears up by four with less than two minutes to play.

Matt Ryan, who was 0-7 passing through the fourth quarter, got the ball back and hit a couple of small passes to get the Falcons across the 50-yard line, but with a little over a minute left, he lofted a pass that was intercepted by Bears’ safety Tashaun Gipson, and the game was over.

The team’s statistical leaders for the game included Nick Foles, who passed for 188 yards, three touchdowns, and an interception in relief of Mitchell Trubisky. Trubisky tied for the team’s leading rusher, as both he and David Montgomery recorded 45 rushing yards. Allen Robinson led all receivers with 123 yards on 10 receptions and one touchdown, with Jimmy Graham also adding two receiving touchdowns on six catches.
