The Chicago Bears finish off the draft with a hated man’s brother

Ninth Pick — 6th Round — 173th Overall

Mohamed Ibrahim, Runningback – Minnesota

Mohamed Ibrahim tore his Achilles last year in what could have easily shut a book on his football career but since then he has bounced back massively. He is a big 10 bell cow running back who gets an ungodly amount of carries, which is not ideal, especially for a guy coming off an Achilles tear.

But he can play, he runs with rage, always fights for yards, and has great balance and vision as a ball carrier. His explosiveness is the only thing holding him back right now which is partly due to his injury, but explosiveness has never been his calling card regardless. He will be an older rookie but that shouldn’t scare teams away, he has a very high floor as a sixth-round pick.

Last Pick — 6th Round — 188th Overall

PJ Mustipher, Defensive Tackle – Penn State

PJ Mustipher, brother of fan favorite Sam Mustipher who is currently the starting center of the Bears, is an interior lineman who was a highly touted recruit. Mustipher is still a bit of a work in progress, but he has the tools to be a starting defensive tackle. He is already a good pass rusher but needs work defending the run. He is also one year removed from a season-ending knee injury so that is something to monitor. Mustipher could certainly be a guy to come in on long down and distance situations to try and tee off and get to a quarterback as a rookie.
