Chicago Bears Pick No. 131: Zach Harrison, DE/EDGE – Ohio State

There is no way that Zach Harrison falls this far in the draft, right? Seeing him here, I felt like I had to add him to the mix despite already taking two other edge rushers. You know what they say, you can never have too many good pass rushers.

Harrison is lengthy. He stands 6’6″ tall and weighs over 270 pounds. He has three sacks on the year to go with five tackles for loss. He has 18 tackles and four quarterback hurries too. Harrison has all of the tools to be elite, but is raw and lacks some of the technical mechanics to push him up draft boards. I do doubt he falls to the fourth round, but if he’s here, he’s a lock for me.

Chicago Bears Pick No. 133: Eric Gray, RB – Oklahoma

Whether David Montgomery is back in a Chicago Bears uniform or not, the team needs to look at adding another running back. Trestan Ebner isn’t a lock for me in 2023 unless Montgomery doesn’t return. I’m sure you all know how I, and most of the league, feel about the running back position by now.

Adding Eric Gray to the mix would be a great offensive weapon and pairing with Khalil Herbert. He’s bigger than Herbert but still has that same 4.4 speed. He’s more of a bruiser than Montgomery and Herbert too. He should be a better pass blocker than Herbert too should Montgomery not return.

Gray succeeds at hitting the hole and using his vision to bounce off and accelerate through the line. He has good start-and-stop speed that allows him to make cuts and make defenders miss. He has an above-average balance and is able to gain tough yards. Would make for a good red zone running back to start his career.
