The Chicago Bears are hitting the bye week at an interesting time. It is coming so late into the season that the team is actually out of playoff contention at the bye week, something that rarely happens. It means that the attention of the final four games will shift to which players can stick around or prove themselves for next season.

Who are some players that can still make the most of the final month of the season?

5. Chicago Bears will hope to see more from Kyler Gordon

This season has been a roller coaster ride for Kyler Gordon. He started off looking like a bust, but slowly found his footing. However, he had his best stretch during the middle of the season he started to fade once again. Now, for the past two weeks, he has missed time with a concussion.

So, he is looking to end the last month on a positive, as all indications are that he will be healthy out of the bye week. This is going to be a huge end of the season for Gordon, too. You can typically track how well he plays based on the opponents they face.

With that in mind, games against the Eagles, Bills, Lions, and Vikings are going to be legitimate tests for Kyler Gordon. He faces big-name quarterbacks, wide receivers, and passing attacks. Names that jump into the slot often are Amon-Ra St. Brown and Justin Jefferson. Still, the Eagles and Bills can find ways to pick on Gordon if they want to as well.

It would be huge to see Gordon improve and leave the season with the arrow pointing up after playing such tough competition.

The way his season has gone, it seems as though up is the next stop because the last month has not been too kind to him.
