4. Will Byron Pringle get more involved

When the Chicago Bears signed Byron Pringle, we thought he was going to play more than Equaimeous St. Brown, and Dante Pettis, An injury had a lot to do with it, but Pringle returned in week 10 and has only played over 40% of the offensive snaps just once in the past four weeks. That is not what we thought was going to come from this signing.

The injuries are an issue, and only having four games on the fly does not help. That is what the bye week is for. Now that Pringle is healthy and trending up, he should be getting integrated into the offense more.

The bye week, Pringle playing better, and St. Brown being the main reason for the late-game interception to lose against Green Bay may all combine for Pringle to become the third wide receiver. Dante Pettis taking the Darnell Mooney role, so a three-wide set of Pringle, Pettis, and Chase Claypool may be as close to the top three that Chicago once envisioned that we will get.

For Pringle, if he plays well, he could be back as the wide receiver four or five next season. If Pringle shows little to nothing in the next month, you should expect to see him looking to play elsewhere. After such a disappointing season he may be one of the free-agent players who are available after the NFL draft.
