1. Will Kindle Vildor start for Chicago Bears next season?

Some fans are going to see this name and laugh. However, we all know that Kindle Vildor has not been the downfall of the secondary this year, and he has been more reliable than Kyler Gordon, albeit he is a rookie.

Still, while Vildor has struggled at times, he also has had some moments that make you pause and buy into what he could be. At the very least he could be a cornerback who plays nickel snaps, as Gordon shifts inside and he plays outside.

The reality is that Vildor is signed through next season, so he likely will be on the roster. The Chicago Bears could add another cornerback, but they have so many needs at this point. The defensive and offensive line and skill players have to outweigh cornerback for now.

So, the name that gets brought in maybe depth to compete with Vildor, not cast him to the side. Then, if Vildor plays better in 2023 with a better pass rush, an extension becomes a debate.

However, if he struggles in a better defense in 2023, it makes it easier to replace him when the team has so many fewer needs. This will not be an overnight rebuild and it could lead to decisions like Vildor getting a chance to start in 2023.

Of course, how he finishes the year will have a strong say in whether that happens or not.
