Chicago Bears Mock Draft, Pick No. 219: Kobie Turner, DL (Wake Forest)

This is a selection that was basically the best player available.

Once the draft gets into the 200s, it’s more of evaluating what’s there than what’s not.

And while he might not slip to No. 219, Kobie Turner is one heck of an athlete.

With his 6-foot-3, 290-pound frame, Turner has the build to be a force in the NFL.

That said, there are some things he’ll need to improve if he wants to take his game to the next level.

Luckily for Turner, the Bears aren’t incredibly deep at defensive line, so if he were to get drafted, he wouldn’t need to beat out many people to earn a spot.

That said, Turner is an absolute beast in the run game.

Every run play he defends, it seems he’s blowing up the play.

Sure, Wake Forest’s competition might not equal the competition in the NFL, but that isn’t to say he can’t transfer the skill from one to the other.

Look out for Kobie Turner as a Day 3 guy with loads of upside.
