3. Can Jaylon Johnson hang with Stefon Diggs?

If you watched the Chicago Bears against the Philadelphia Eagles from the All-22 perspective and then saw the box score, you would be surprised that Jaylon Johnson was responsible for so man yards allowed. That is the price for following A.J. Brown, but the tape showed a back-and-forth duel that Brown mostly won because Jalen Hurts had the advantage to sit in the pocket and let things develop.

Any sort of pass rush would have made this day look much more special from Jaylon Johnson. When you watch Johnson on tape, he is having an excellent season. He has a few awful snaps in the slot, and what Brown did to him hurts, but even the tape on that game is better than the stats.

Just looking at Johnson as an outside boundary cornerback shows a talented player to build around. Now, he goes from A.J. Brown to Stefon Diggs. Gabe Davis has not emerged, so you know that they will want to follow Diggs and force it to anyone else. You also saw that Hurts would still test Johnson last week.

Will Josh Allen force it to Diggs? Will Johnson play well? Will the stats show it? This is another real test for a player who is starting to trend underrated.
