2. Can Chicago Bears trust Jack Sanborn as a blitzer?

One of the sad stats of the season is season Jaquan Brisker and Roquan Smith lead the team In sacks. Then, tied for third is Jack Sanborn, Okay, it is just two, and the fact that three non-pass rushers are in the top five says all you need to know about the line, but Sanborn has been a good pass rusher this season.

The Chicago Bears have called his number as an extra rusher just 18 times. Still, with two sacks, and six overall pressures, he is hitting at a strong rate. His pass rush productivity rating is fourth in the NFL amongst qualified linebackers, and he also has the best pass rush win rate among linebackers since week nine.

The hope is that the defensive line improves so much that the team is not asking him to blitz so often. Still, six pressures, and two sacks on 18 tries is pretty impressive. The team may like using him in this area on passing downs, which will limit his exposure in coverage.
