How does Justin Fields compare to the rest of the 2021 draft class?

Final Thoughts on Chicago Bears QB, Justin FIelds vs the 2021 Draft class
Justin Fields is finally hitting his stride in the NFL and doing so with minimal surrounding talent. What’s even more promising is that his current rate of development appears to be either on par with or ahead of the other quarterbacks from his draft.
Entering the 2020 season, it was Lawrence, Fields, and everyone else. Due to the emergence of players such as Wilson and Jones, the picture became less clear. By the time draft night rolled around, Fields fell all the way to QB4 and outside of the top ten.
Now, it feels like we’re back to square one. Lawrence looks like one of the most polished young quarterbacks in the game. Meanwhile, Fields has become one of the best rushing threats ever seen at the position, with his passing improving by the week.
The outlook on the rest of the class isn’t great. It’s unclear whether Wilson will ever start in the NFL again. Lance is currently dealing with a major injury, and Mac Jones will need to put together a stellar 2023 season to stop New England from looking elsewhere.
The NFL draft process has long shown a strong predilection for pocket passers over dual threats. But even with these stylistic preferences, Fields would almost certainly be the second quarterback off the board in a re-draft. By no means is this suggesting Fields doesn’t have room for improvement himself. But for all the areas the Bears are currently lacking, it seems they may have found their guy at quarterback.
