1. Equanimeous St. Brown earned a deal with the Chicago Bears

Fans can laugh if they want, but Equanimeous St. Brown was a huge winner. He was a practice squad player for the Green Bay Packers and would be happy to get a helmet. Then, he became a starter in Chicago, and one of the receivers who played the most snaps this season.

Yes, a lot of that can be due to the names around him, but he did beat out Byron Pringle, N’Keal Harry, Velus Jones, and others such as Tajae Sharpe and David Moore. The Bears signed Pringle drafted Jones and traded for Harry with the idea that both would play more than ESB. Heck, Pringle was making over three times as much as St. Brown and did not contribute nearly as much. That is a win for St. Brown.

Of course, it was capped off by a contract that will have him back in training camp this summer. St. Brown did not play as much as Dante Pettis this season, but the team has yet to give Pettis an extension. That is likely because Pettis played so much due to the injury to Darnell Mooney and his ability to fill that role in the offense.

St. Brown went from probably a camp body to definitely on the inside track to make the roster for a second straight year. Equanimous St. Brown won this season.
