Now, let’s get into my best bet for the weekend.
Best NFL Divisional Round Bet
It makes sense to target a game I expect some scoring in since we need a TD anyway to win $200 from BetMGM. Thus, I’ll target the 49ers vs. Cowboys as I believe the total is way too low. It’s time for an over bet.
Dak Prescott played one of the finest games of his career against the Bucs last weekend with four total TDs, and Brock Purdy threw for over 300 yards with three TDs himself. The 49ers have at least 37 points in four straight games and Dallas has at least 27 in nine of its last 10, but this total is only 46.5? Nonsense.
Recent trends on both sides support a high-scoring game. The over is 6-1 in San Francisco’s last seven games and 5-2 in the Cowboys’ last seven, and I expect at least one of these squads to put up 30 points.
At the start of the year, these defenses were considered the strength of each team. However, both have withered of late while the offenses surged. The 49ers, for example, ranked 26th in opponent yards per play (6.1) over the last three weeks but led the league in yards per play (6.8).
