The Chicago Bears will be in the market for a wide receiver this off-season. While the free agent market is not a great place to venture right now, we know that area is also fluid and could change quickly. There are players who could be cut, or traded due to contract issues.

So, if the team is patient in free agency, keep in mind that the following names could remain available through the 2023 NFL draft.

10. Could Chicago Bears add Robert Woods?

The Tennessee Titans will have a decision of whether they want to cut Robert Woods, trade him, or keep him. He has three more years on his deal, and about $53M. Still, the Titans could clear most of that, and they would save $12M next season if they do move on from Robert Woods.

The Chicago Bears are in a situation where their cap space provides them more leverage than a draft pick. The Titans are going to have to discuss cutting Robert Woods to move off of that money. One thing the Bears could do is offer a low pick, and potentially a conditional pick for Robert Woods.

They would take on his contract, but they have the cap space, and it would not cost them a meaningful draft pick. Knowing Ryan Poles, one trade down could net what he moves for Woods back.

The Bears would have him for three more years, but his contract would also be easier to move off of because most of his guaranteed money would be paid off. Woods is going to be 31 next season, he was coming off an ACL last year, and he has his lowest number of yards in his career. This is why the cost will not be much, but for the Chicago Bears, it is a nice veteran addition for the room.
