The Chicago Bears have started their offseason on the right foot with the hiring of Ben Johnson.

In recent weeks, Johnson has filled his coaching staff with familiar names. Most notably, Dennis Allen will be the de facto head coach of the defense while serving as Johnson's defensive coordinator. With Johnson's coaching staff filled out and the Super Bowl in the rearview mirror, the time has come to lay the blueprint for what should be an aggressive offseason for the Bears.

3 bold Chicago Bears 2025 offseason predictions

1. The Bears will add three new starting offensive lineman

Gone are the days when Ryan Poles can scour over the depth charts of teams across the NFL with the hope that one of their backup offensive linemen will become available. The Bears have seen how that scenario plays out and it is one that leads to Caleb Williams being the most sacked quarterback in the NFL.

The guess here is that the Bears will add three new starting offensive linemen this offseason. Two of those additions will come in free agency as the Bears will undoubtedly look to grab a veteran center while potentially circling Trey Smith for one of their starting guard spots.

2. The Bears will trade for Micah Parsons

Hand up, I feel like kind of a hypocrite for this one. It was just last week that I was pointing out how much of a mistake it would be for the Bears to trade draft capital when they have glaring needs along both lines. That was in reference to Myles Garrett, who will turn 30 at the end of the year. Micah Parsons is a unicorn in the sense that he will turn 26 in May. Assuming the Bears do add two new offensive linemen in free agency, a trade for Parsons would make sense.

3, The Bears will break ground on a new stadium in Arlington Heights

The charade has gone on far too long. Kevin Warren needs to break ground on a new stadium and all signs continue to point toward Arlington Heights.
