3 positions the Chicago Bears must be looking at during the 2025 NFL Combine

As the Chicago Bears head to Indianapolis for the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine, they will be looking to fill some needs with their three top 50 draft picks.

What positions should the team have their eyes on when it comes to filling those slots?

Interior Defensive Line

The Bears need some help up front. They hope to see Andrew Billings healthy again this year, but when they lost him the depth was so thin that the unit fell apart. No team can be that reliant on one player. Beyond that, the team needs to find a future beyond Bilings and that should start with a quality draft pick.

Edge Rusher

The Bears cut DeMarcus Walker so they are losing 510 snaps that he played as an edge rusher. When they had Walker, they still had a need for an edge rusher, so it is clear that they have to address that here. A lot of the top-edge rushers, such as James Pearce, Mike Green, and Mykel Williams, have all been linked to the Bears. There is also a lot of talk that these three will have a strong weekend at the NFL Combine. There is a good chance that someone will ascend to top-ten status from this position this weekend. Which one will it be?

Interior Offensive Line

The Chicago Bears will make improvements to the offensive line in any form, but they should focus on the interior. They have Darnell Wright, and if Braxton Jones is healthy, he is solid. If not, they did draft Kiran Amegadjie. Beyond that, they should be looking to improve in all three interior positions compared to last year. Who stands out, and where do the sweep spots lie in this draft? Is Will Campbell a guard or tackle on their board? The Bears are about to find out this weekend.
