2. Will Montez Sweat pick up his sack production?

Montez Sweat has not had a bad season by any stretch, and his presence is likely why Gervon Dexter, Darrell Taylor, and DeMarcus Walker are all looking like the best versions of themselves. Still, it is notable that Montez Sweat is on pace for 6.8 sacks in 2024 after hitting six sacks in nine games for the Bears last season.

The odds of Sweat hitting 12 sacks again were low, and Sweat averages 8.3 sacks per year, so that may be a better bar to gauge him at. Still, that does mean he is a bit below his production rate.

Sweat has an 11% pass-rush win rate, and that is down a bit from his 12.7% win rate last year. Still, that is not a big enough drop-off to be concerned about, and rather it points to the reality that sacks should come soon for Sweat. Still, if Bears fans want to see him in the double digits for a second straight season, that needs to start soon.
