You can already see this decision backfiring, right? When Herbert rips off a 75-yard touchdown in the Super Bowl fans will be complaining about how they only got a late-round pick for this player. However, the Bears cannot worry about the Chiefs and have to do what is best for business. If Kansas City offers the best deal, the team has to accept it. 

For the Chiefs, they obviously need a running back. We do not know when Isaiah Pachecho will be back and they are so desperate that Kareem Hunt led the group in rushing after being signed off of the street just a few weeks ago. 

Herbert is younger, faster, and has similar traits that Hunt once displayed when he was younger. The speed of Herbert on the field with someone like Xavier Worthy should entice the Chiefs as well. Will they strike a deal?
