The Chicago Bears roll into Week 4 with plenty of momentum and excitement, as they face a New York Jets team that can't be slept on.
Chicago enters the game with a 2-1 record, coming off an impressive 27-7 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football without Caleb Williams at quarterback. New York might be 1-2, but everyone feels the same: this team is different and more competitive than what Aaron Glenn threw out there in 2025.
Glenn might have four key offensive players out for the game, including Breece Hall and Adonai Mitchell, but the Jets still have five players who can disrupt the game in major ways. Here are the five the Bears need to watch.
Which Jets players could really hurt the Bears in Week 4 matchup?
Kenyon Sadiq, TE
The Jets' young 2026 first-round pick is already making some noise for New York early in the season. Sadiq has caught 12 passes for 143 yards and one touchdown. With Mitchell out, Sadiq is ready to attack the middle of the Bears' defense with T.J. Edwards and Devin Bush, so their coverage skills will be challenged by a tight end who can run in the 4.3s.
David Bailey, EDGE
Another Jets first-round pick who is looking really good and is making a strong first impression. Bailey has racked up 12 tackles, three tackles for loss, two sacks, and one forced fumble this season. He is a disruptive force off the edge and can make some plays defensively if he isn't stopped.
Demario Davis, LB
Davis may be 37, but he still plays like an elite linebacker in this league. He leads the Jets with 22 tackles, plus two tackles for loss, one sack, and one pass deflection. The Bears need to find him and block him right away so they can get their running game going early and often, because Davis will make sure that doesn't happen.
Geno Smith, QB
Smith looks like the quarterback who played well for the Seattle Seahawks, not the guy who struggled mightily in a Raiders uniform. He has completed 75.5% of his passes for 783 yards and four touchdowns with zero interceptions. The Bears need to get pressure in Smith's face because he makes good decisions and can really hurt them with a clean pocket.

Garrett Wilson, WR
With Hall and Mitchell out, Wilson is the lone top offensive player, which has felt like the case for him for a long time in New York. Wilson has 21 receptions for 243 yards and two touchdowns through three games. Expect him to remain Smith's top target, giving Jaylon Johnson a tough task entering the game.
